New adaptorless MIG/MAG wire baskets just introduced by ESAB are quick and easy to fit. With no adaptor required, the basket simply fits directly on to the wire feed unit.

The robust design features a rigid wall construction which assists a smooth wire feed and with no plastic inserts being required for fitting to the welding machine, change over time is reduced to a minimum.

Fewer changes are required with the ESAB adaptorless baskets compared with conventional spools. Supplied on 18kg baskets in 1.0mm and 1.2mm wire, the new baskets contain more wire which decreases down time.

Fully recyclable, the eco-friendly adaptorless baskets are easily disposed of as a reusable resource thereby helping customers to meet their environmental goals, benefiting the customer and environment alike.

Already successfully introduced on stainless and aluminium wires, the A baskets are now available to provide similar advantages for the non-alloyed MIG/MAG user.
