Accurate grinding of Tungsten electrodes, essential for better TIG welding and tip life, can now be carried out quickly and easily thanks to the new ESAB G-Tech TIG Electrode Grinder. Giving accurate and repeatable tip angles to all tungsten TIG electrodes, G-Tech is fully adjustable for any tip angle required, and is supplied with holders to suit 1.0, 1.6, 2.4, 3.2, 4.0, and 4.8mm electrodes. Health and safety issues are taken care of by the ESAB G-Tech having a fully enclosed wet grinding system, which provides automatic collection of harmful grinding particles, giving an improved working environment for the operator, with no separate dust extraction system being necessary. Enhanced grinding accuracy means longer life for electrode tips, with improved strike-up and more concentrated welding arc, giving improved TIG welding with better arc stability and a more consistent level of welding penetration.
Fully CE approved, the ESAB G-Tech TIG Electrode Grinder offers ease of use, along with many welding and environmental benefits. The compact and easily portable unit is available in 220/240v and 110/115v versions.
