ADVANCED ARISTOTIG WELDER FOR THE MOST DEMANDING USERS
11 January 2001 - ESAB Group

ESAB's Aristotig LTN DC255 has been designed for operators who need more features than those offered by standard TIG welding equipment.

ESAB's Aristotig LTN DC255 has been designed for operators who need more features than those offered by standard TIG welding equipment.

The Aristotig LTN DC255 incorporates a pulse device to give a better control of the weld pool, while a lower heat input facility giving improved welding results on thin materials.

The ergonomically designed front panel has self-explanatory controls which can be operated in an interactive procedure. Settings are accurate, easy to enter and quickly stored in the memory which holds up to four sets of welding parameters, two for TIG and two for MMA. By just clicking on the torch switch, the operator can switch between programs.

Most materials from 0.5mm thick plate, including stainless and mild steels, can be welded with the Aristotig LTN DC255.

Start mode can be selected to suit the welding environment, HF for normal applications and LIFTARC sensitive electronic areas.

For MMA operation, ARCPLUS provides repaid recovery after drop short circuiting so reducing the risk of the electrode sticking to the workpiece.

A two or four stroke trigger action obviates the need to hold the trigger in while welding. Remote or foot controls can be provided, if required.

Another option offered is a separate cooling unit, OCF-21, to cool the TIG torch to a preferred temperature. It also increases the life of the torch spares.
