Designed for use by operators who need more than the standard features normally available on TIG welding equipment, the new Aristotig AC/DC 255 unit from ESAB will produce the highest quality TIG welding on all types of materials.

Operating in both AC and DC modes, the 255 gives an excellent safe start and stable arc and has digital instrumentation as standard.

The Aristotig 255 has a built-in pulse system, providing a better control of the weld pool and a low heat input facility and provides improved welding results on thin section materials.

The unit offers stepless AC balance and frequency controls to provide the welding operator with unsurpassed control of the arc when welding aluminium.

The touch trigger action can be set for two or four stroke operation and for a four stroke 'pilot action' which allows for switching between two pre-programmed current settings.

In addition to its excellent TIG facilities, the Aristotig 255 is an ideal MMA power source for AC or DC electrodes up to 4mm dia. The stepless hot start and arc force controls provide excellent arc striking and arc running characteristics, which may be adjusted to suit the electrode selection.
