The latest LAW 420 and 520 MIG/MAG welding rectifiers from ESAB Ltd incorporate new software in the controller to give improved starts and better low current performance as well as a quieter arc. These new machines have automatic voltage compensation built in to give consistent arc voltage even if there are fluctuations at the mains. They both produce superior welding qualities with different gas mixtures and wire types and come with or without, as required, integral water cooling for the welding gun. The power sources are combined with four-wheel drive feed systems of various sizes. Both the LAW 420 and 520 power sources have been designed to cope with heavy industrial demands and so are equipped with large wheels, lifting rings and an undercarriage designed for wheeling around the work area. The sturdy alu-zinc coated casing will withstand rough corrosive environments and comes as a ready-to-use package which is quick and easy to set up.
