Two new highly portable welding machines from Eutectic UK now provide even more welding amps for your money. The new UltraMax2 is a powerful single-phase 140A machine for MMA and TIG welding weighing only 4.3kg. Its ease-of-use makes it the most user friendly machine on the market and comes with a hot-start feature for easy ignition, arc force control to ensure a constant arc length as well as preventing short circuits and anti-stick to prevent electrode burn-out. The XuperMax2 offers 250A power making it ideal for heavy duty MMA & TIG welding and larger electrodes. The XuperMax2 incorporates a unique ?tunnel technology? which prevents dust and dirt from getting inside the unit whilst keeping components cool ? perfect for reliable machines. It also offers infinite amperage variability between 10-250 Amps for greater control; pulsed TIG welding with adjustable frequency and base current settings and an adjustable hot start for the perfect ignition. For welding characteristics and reliability the XuperMax2 is the best 200A-plus machine available. "These machines are great for a variety of applications and are perfect to use, whether you are an experienced or occasional welder", says Mike German, new welding product manager at Eutectic UK, "and are the best machines in their class on the market."
