Matrox Graphics, the leading manufacturer of graphics solutions for professionals, announces the release of Matrox Desktop Divider, a new feature in Matrox PowerDesk enabled by downloading the unified and certified 2.01.00.081 SE driver for Matrox financial, enterprise and insurance products. This new feature increases efficiency and productivity by allowing users to divide a single monitor into smaller display units for better organization of screen space. The Matrox Desktop Divider further enhances the user's multi-monitor computing experience and brings Matrox traditional DualHead functionality to new high-resolution and wide-aspect displays. "Matrox is pleased to offer a new software feature tailored to financial, insurance and enterprise professionals that use multi-monitor configurations or the new larger and high-resolution single displays," says Jean-Levy Beaudoin, Business Development Manager, Matrox Graphics. "The Desktop Divider feature is yet another Matrox tool to complement their multi-monitor configurations or optimize the new high-resolution or wide-aspect flat panels, and enable even greater organization and productivity." The Matrox Desktop Divider is ideal for users who currently work with high-resolution displays such as the Apple Cinema 30 inch display. Powered by the Parhelia DL256 PCI, a Dual-Link DVI graphics card, these high-resolution monitors can now be better optimized to display even more critical information with the Matrox Desktop Divider. Other large and wide-aspect displays commonly found in executive enterprise offices can also take advantage of this new feature by displaying more information in smaller display units. Supported by the Matrox Millennium P650 series at their maximum digital resolution of 1920 x 1200, the 23 inch Apple displays and the 24 inch wide-aspect displays from Dell can now feature more information for executive analysis.
