TOTOKU'S LATEST 3 MP GRAYSCALE AND COLOR LCD DISPLAYS NOW SHIPPING WITH MATROX MEDICAL DISPLAY CONTROLLER BOARDS
Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of graphics solutions for professionals, today announced that Totoku Japan has validated and is bundling Matrox MED and RAD Series display controller boards with its new ME351i 3 MP monochrome and CCL350I 3 MP color medical LCD displays. A high-performance display model for X-Ray images, Totoku's ME351i 3 MP monochrome displays provide easy evaluation of DICOM GSDF conformance and simultaneous display of 2,048 shades of gray, and is also equipped with a hardware pivot function for fast drawing. The 3 MP color Totoku CCL350i display is a high luminance model best suited for color medical images, and is also equipped with a hardware pivot function for fast drawing in portrait orientation. "Totoku has yet again chosen Matrox display controller boards to be bundled with our medical displays," says Mark Yoshida, product manager, Totoku. "The features and functionality of Matrox display controller boards will benefit our customers using the new Totoku 3 MP color and monochrome displays by increasing display output quality and efficiency." Matrox MED Series display controller boards, including the MED2mp-DVI, MED3mp-DVI and MED5mp-DVI, represent a top-to-bottom approach for display configurations supporting landscape and portrait modes ranging from under two through five mega pixels. In addition, Matrox RAD Series AGP, PCI and PCI Express display controller boards expand the medical imaging product line with dual output support of up to 2 MP analog or digital displays. Both MED and RAD Series boards are also equipped with Hardware Pivot for smooth and accelerated portrait image displays, and are capable of driving various combinations of grayscale and color displays in stretched or independent modes.
