Matrox Graphics Inc. will show its latest medical imaging solutions at the ITEM 2005 show in Yokohama, Japan. Including the AuroraVX Series, MED Series, RAD Series and TheatreVUE Series, Matrox's line of display controller boards presents the ultimate in visual quality and stability for the most demanding medical imaging professionals.

A low profile, single board PCI Express solution, the AuroraVX Series can power up to three displays-one Navigation Console Display, along with two Twin Imaging Displays. Matrox's AuroraVX2mp display controller board supports one navigation console up to a resolution of 2 MP analog, color or grayscale. Each VX2mp board also supports an additional two Twin Imaging Displays of up to 2 MP analog or digital.

The Matrox MED Series of display controller boards represents a top-to-bottom solution capable of a scope of display configurations for landscape and portrait modes ranging from two through five mega pixels, such as the MED2mp-DVI, MED3mp-DVI and MED5mp-DVI, and includes a variety of grayscale and color models with analog and digital display support. With dual output support for grayscale or color, analog or digital displays, the RAD AGP, PCI and PCIe display controller boards continue Matrox's world-renowned tradition of imaging excellence. Matrox's TheatreVUE Series boasts the ability to clone any portion of the primary display to an analog projector or large-screen display, making them ideal solutions for theatre-style classrooms and operating room environments. TheatreVUE boards are able to drive a primary output of up to 2 MP analog/digital or 3 MP digital in portrait or landscape, grayscale or color modes, and can clone any portion of the primary display to an analog projector at up to 2 MP.
