GREAT LAKES COMPLETES ANOX NDB EXPANSION

Great Lakes Chemical Corporation has announced that an expansion at its manufacturing facility in Pedrengo, Italy, has increased production capacity by 50% for its line of Anox NDB polymer stabiliser blends.

Great Lakes Chemical Corporation has announced that an expansion at its manufacturing facility in Pedrengo, Italy, has increased production capacity by 50% for its line of Anox NDB polymer stabiliser blends.

The increased capacity will shorten delivery lead-times and further improve the company’s production flexibility and dedicated service to customers. Global demand for No Dust Blends, marketed under the trade name Anox NDB, continues to show significant growth due to the product’s proven customer benefits.

Anox NDB is a synergistic combination of polymer stabilizers and other additives in a dust-free physical form, which provides a cleaner and healthier working environment. They are incorporated into the polymer mix in one, simple application, thereby ensuring accurate dosing of all components and avoiding out of specification production. Anox NDB is proven to increase productivity, reduce costs and improve final product quality.

Great Lakes announced earlier this month the expansion of Anox NDB production at Gulf Stabilizers Industries (GSI) in Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia. When complete, the expansion will triple the existing Anox NDB capacity, which went on stream in early 2001. GSI is a joint venture between Great Lakes and the AH Al Zamil Group of Saudi Arabia.

Anox NDB is also manufactured at Great Lakes sites in the US and South Korea.
