MATROX ANNOUNCES NEW THEATREVUE SERIES MEDICAL DISPLAY PROJECTION CONTROLLERS AT RSNA
Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of professional graphics solutions, is proud to unveil its latest medical solution, the Matrox TheatreVUE Series of display projection controllers, at this year's Radiological Society of North America show in Chicago, Illinois. With the ability to clone the primary display to a projector, the Matrox TheatreVUE medical display projection controllers are ideal for theatre-style classrooms and operating rooms. The TheatreVUE medical display projection controllers have the ability to drive a primary output of up to 2MP analog or 3MP digital in portrait or landscape, grayscale or color modes, and clone any portion of the primary display onto an analog projector at up to 2MP. With high-performance window & level and image load functionality, the TheatreVUE display projection controllers produce pristine image quality at high bit-depths and flicker-free output. Each TheatreVUE projection controller is a PCI board, compatible with PCI-32/33, PCI-64/66 and PCI-X, and each drives one medical display and one projector per board. Multiple TheatreVUE boards in a system are each capable of supporting another medical display and projector set. "Many of our customers approached us to equip their theatre-style environments with a projection system," says George Rigas, medical product manager, Matrox Graphics Inc. "Using our TheatreVUE boards makes it possible for us to fulfill the needs of our customers." The TheatreVUE Series medical display projection solutions are the latest product in Matrox's line of medical imaging solutions, joining the Matrox MED Series of display controllers to provide full-featured imaging solutions to the medical market.
