Matrox Graphics Inc., is pleased to announce that it will launch its Matrox MED Series of medical imaging graphics cards at this year's Radiological Society of North America show in Chicago, Illinois, the 88th Scientific Assembly and Annual Meeting. Offering medical imaging professionals with a top-to-bottom solution to meet the crucial needs of the medical imaging community, the new Matrox MED Series of products includes analog and digital graphics cards with a variety of display configurations ranging from two to five megapixel grayscale technology.

With graphics configurations including the MED2mp, MED2mp-DVI, MED3mp-DVI, MED5mp and MED5mp-DVI, this latest suite of graphics boards offers fast image loading and support for full Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine calibrations in portrait and/or landscape resolutions. The Matrox MED Series of graphics cards provides pristine images at high bit-depths and flicker-free output for Picture Archiving and Communications Systems applications such as review stations and diagnostic stations, and modality applications such as X-ray imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, computer tomography, computed radiography and cardiology.
