Matrox Graphics Inc. today announced the Matrox MED2mp graphics card with two mega-pixel image and 10-bit per channel grayscale output precision, providing the medical imaging market with a rock-solid graphics solution featuring Matrox's world-renowned image quality, reliability and stability.

Incorporating support for 10-bit per channel grayscale accuracy from an 8-bit input and the ability to accept non-linear gamma ramps from a calibration device, the Matrox MED2mp outputs images in 10-bit grayscale on up to four analog displays. This PCI graphics card comes equipped with 8 MB of SGRAM and a 250 MHz RAMDAC per chip, providing crystal-clear images at resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 on each display.
