NEW ADDITION TO IRIS P-SERIES SMART CAMERA FAMILY INCORPORATES A 100 FRAMES PER SECOND SENSOR

Matrox Imaging announces Iris P300H, the latest addition to the Matrox Iris P-Series family of programmable smart cameras designed for professional developers and OEMs. "Matrox Iris P300H includes a high-speed monochrome 640 x 480 @ 100 fps 1/3"-type CCD sensor which makes it ideal for high throughput inspection applications that require simple analysis/processing of images," explains Fabio Perelli, Product Manager for Matrox Imaging.

At Semicon West 2005, Matrox Imaging announces Iris P300H, the latest addition to the Matrox Iris P-Series family of programmable smart cameras designed for professional developers and OEMs. "Matrox Iris P300H includes a high-speed monochrome 640 x 480 @ 100 fps 1/3"-type CCD sensor which makes it ideal for high throughput inspection applications that require simple analysis/processing of images," explains Fabio Perelli, Product Manager for Matrox Imaging.

The Matrox Iris P-Series family is powered by an Ultra Low Power Celeron, an embedded Intel architecture processor. They run the Windows CE .NET real-time operating system and are programmed using Microsoft eMbedded Visual C++. OEMs and integrators can develop their applications with the Matrox Imaging Library, the industry's ultimate toolbox for image processing solutions, and run them directly on Matrox Iris P-Series.
