Converters seeking higher performance fabrication in retort packaging will want to obtain information on the company's new Adcote 76-159 adhesive, which is able to run at higher solids and is available in commercial quantities. The product promises "a more machine-friendly solution to faster line speeds," says marketing manager Nancy Smith. Two new cold seal products, one natural rubber, the other 100% synthetic, are also being introduced during the Expo. Coseal 55-109, in a natural rubber base, has been developed specifically to eliminate seal deadening in transverse direction fields. And, converters and marketers facing allergy concerns using a natural rubber cold seal adhesive will want to learn more about the company's new Coseal 55-300 100% synthetic adhesive. The product eliminates all concerns related to allergic reactions and removes supply inconsistencies that can occur with many natural rubber cold seal based products.
