SANDVIK CONSOLIDATES MARKET LEADERSHIP IN STEEL BELT PROCESS TECHNOLOGY
The highlight of this years' Sandvik Process Systems' stand at Achema is a working model of the new Rotoform HS (high speed) pastillation system, which will be shown alongside a model of a standard Rotoform 3000. Developed in response to changing pastillation requirements in the oil and gas industry, Rotoform HS offers as much as twice the previous throughput capacity. This new development, along with the growth in several application areas for the tried and tested Rotoform family, such as urea pastillation and fat chemicals processing, confirms Sandvik's leading position in steel belt based process technology. Key application areas include:- An indication of Sandvik's strong position and steady effort in development and market penetration is a significant increase in order intake in 2005 in all market areas, mainly for turnkey installations. The company views the future optimistically and is expecting a continuouse increase in business, sustained growth and market penetration in the coming years. Using examples to support 'the power of Sandvik', a new audio visual presentation is being shown for the first time at Achema.
