PLANAR SELECTS MATROX DISPLAY CONTROLLER BOARDS TO BUNDLE WITH SELECT MEDICAL DISPLAYS
-Dual Dome E2 displays with the Matrox MED2mp "We are excited to introduce the Matrox display controller boards with our Dome EX and PX line of medical displays to fulfill our customers' needs," says Patrick Herguth, vice president and general manager, medical business unit, Planar. The AuroraVX Series display controller board maximizes display output options, powering three displays from a single low-profile PCI Express board. The AuroraVX3mp supports a Navigation Console up to a resolution of 2 MP, along with two Twin Imaging Displays of 2 MP each or 3 MP each. Matrox MED Series display controller boards, including the MED2mp-DVI, MED3mp-DVI and MED5mp-DVI, represent a top-to-bottom approach for display configurations supporting landscape and portrait modes ranging from under two through five mega pixels. Both the AuroraVX Series and MED Series boards are equipped with Hardware Pivot, and are capable of driving various combinations of color and grayscale displays in portrait and/or landscape modes.
