ASHLAND DISTRIBUTION EXPANDS COMPOSITES PRODUCT LINE THROUGH AGREEMENT WITH
An agreement that will expand Ashland Distribution's product offering has been reached with SP of Magog.. Ashland Distribution, a division of Ashland Inc., was granted North American distribution rights for all products from SP including the company's flagship structural foam, Corecell, heavyweight structural prepregs, formulated epoxy resins and structural design services. Ashland and SP (formerly ATC) have enjoyed a long affiliation in Canada and now the relationship will extend to all of North America. According to Jean Pierre Mouligne, North American sales manager, "We have had a very good relationship with Ashland in Canada and the expanded recognition is a logical extension of the relationship. SP has made significant investments in core material production and working with the leading composite distributors will allow SP to better serve the market needs." Don Belock, Ashland Distribution director of source management for composites, said, "We value our relationships with industry-leading producers, and full North American recognition allows both organizations to better focus efforts. We are very excited to offer our customers SP's innovative products for composite fabrication."
