Husky Injection Molding Systems and Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI) have agreed to collaborate to support customers worldwide with new package and process development for PET containers.

Husky Injection Molding Systems and Plastic Technologies Inc. (PTI) have agreed to collaborate to support customers worldwide with new package and process development for PET containers. The new collaboration also includes the Asia Pacific Region and Husky’s new Shanghai Technical Center which is currently under development.

The first phase of the collaboration includes setting up Husky’s new Index Stretch Blow system (IndexSB) at Husky’s Advanced Manufacturing Center in Bolton, Canada and PTI’s facilities in Holland, USA for research and development purposes.

“This just extends our longstanding relationship with Husky,” says Dr. Thomas Brady, President of PTI. “This new collaboration results in superior capability and ensures we can provide customers with a package that works.”

The collaboration will offer the following:
Package development
Process development
Prototyping
Pilot production
Product testing and evaluation
