In fact, the latest version is being used by Pechiney in France, the world's fifth largest producer and converter of aluminium, in a pioneering testing application.

NEXYGEN MT software, with its huge test library and easy to use interface, is ideal for quality control, and production line applications as well as in laboratory, research and education. The latest version (V4.5) features high level security and audit tracking which is essential for all companies needing to comply with strict FDA 21, CFR Part 11 - Electronic Record, Electronic Signatures regulations. This feature creates audit trails when operators log in and out, and when a test is created, changed, deleted or aborted. Automatic saving and archiving ensures no test data is ever lost and comprehensive password protection enables multilevel access.

Special software drivers have also been incorporated into the latest version for seamless control of Lloyd Instruments' test machines in Lab VIEW. Lab VIEW, from National Instruments, is widely used because of a flexible approach to programming that uses graphics and icons.

Pechiney, based in Grenoble, uses Lab VIEW throughout it operations. One objective was to look at testing the mechanical properties of aluminium during casting. For this project, Lloyd Instruments designed special NEXYGEN software drivers for seamless control of a custom built test machine in a Lab VIEW environment. This adds flexibility and convenience to a totally custom made solution.

Other software features include video capture and playback of 'live' tests. This useful sample analysis tool also brings any training setting to life where the same test can be replayed any number of times so students can simultaneously view the video clip and study the test graph as it is plotted.

"Batch Tester" , a special, easy to use utility designed to accelerate the testing schedules of production line operations, is also included. For some, a standard test is unsuitable, so Ondio Application. Builder Software is available for customised programming.

NEXYGEN MT software, used in conjunction with any current Lloyd Instruments’ test system, appeals to many different industries including medical device and pharmaceutical manufacturing, plastics and polymers, rubber, metals, packaging, food, textiles, ceramics, automotive/aircraft components, electronics, adhesives, and general industry. Like previous versions, the performance, flexibility and ease of use of Version 4.5 will benefit new and experienced users. It is ISO Tick IT accredited and available in French, English, German, Italian, Portuguese, Danish and simplified Chinese languages.
