18 May 2004 - Axxicon Mould Technology

Axxicon Moulds Helmond strengthens its customer support with the appointments of new sales representatives Maurits van Linder and John van der Laan.

The new team members bring to the company a wealth of experience of customer support and problem-solving roles in technical markets. Maurits van Linder joins after a ten-year period with Siemens AG, holding a number of positions in technical sales and product management based in Hong Kong, the Philippines, Indonesia and Vietnam. John van der Laan began his career as sales representative for electronic components manufacturer Tyco Electronics AMP (‘s Hertogenbosch, NL), before moving to Royal Ten Cate – Enbi (Nuth, NL), developer of technical rollers and paper transport solutions for the office industry.

The pair will be working closely with clients in the medical, pharmaceutical, high-end disposables and optical markets, where customised moulds are prerequisite.

Comments managing director Oscar van der Horst: “We intend to place more focus on these markets, because we have the resources, in-house, to find bespoke mould solutions for the most difficult of challenges.”

“Highly skilled, experienced staff are vital to oversee the complete project management of mould development, through phases like design, mould-flow analysis, injection testing, as well as injection moulding equipment configuration.
Our new team members, with their know-how and proven track record, will further strengthen our capabilities.”
