Akzo Nobel Car Refinishes has launched Sikkens Autosurfacer HB filler. Delivering more build than other high-build fillers, it helps speed up the spraying and sanding process in the bodyshop. New Sikkens Autosurfacer HB has been developed to give more build than most high-build fillers, without compromising on finish. It can be applied to bare steel substrates and existing finishes. Its special formulation ensures it flows smoothly and sprays easily. High-build properties that can reach a thickness of 300 microns in just three layers ensure optimum coverage of surfaces, including irregularities. Unlike many high-build fillers, Sikkens Autosurfacer HB dries quickly and is easy to sand. Whether dried at room temperature, baked at 60ºC or cured with infrared, it dries to a smooth, hard surface for both wet and dry sanding. The result is time and materials savings during the sanding process. Sikkens Autosurfacer HB is part of the Sikkens refinishing systems that have been developed to help simplify the repair process. It can be over-coated with all Sikkens topcoats.
