Akzo Nobel has completed its VOC compliant offer for commercial vehicles by combining the best of two topoat lines with a tinted primer and filler concept. Sikkens Autocoat BT LV 351 Topcoat and LV 250 Topcoat, in combination with Akzo Nobel’s upgraded Varicolor tinted primer and filler concept, together form an assortment for every job, at every price point.

Under the Sikkens Autocoat BT brand, Akzo Nobel offers its commercial vehicles customers products that are easier to use, offer excellent hiding power, use less material and are more environmentally friendly.

Sikkens Autocoat BT LV 351 Topcoat: High performance, premium range topcoat

Sikkens Autocoat BT LV 351 will be the most efficient, time and cost saving low VOC product range for commercial vehicles, in line with future European legislation. The product range contains no lead or chromates.

In 2007, the new European VOC legislation for commercial vehicles paint products will be in effect. Akzo Nobel applied the latest high-solids technology to an already powerful product assortment. The result is an innovative, robust and superbly balanced product.

Sikkens Autocoat BT LV 250 Topcoat: High solids, fast drying, compact priced topcoat

Sikkens Autocoat BT LV 250 is the lower cost low VOC solution. Existing equipment can be used for a good quality, durable finish. The high solids formulation saves material. The product saves paint process time leading to higher productivity. Lead and chromate free color formulas are available.

The Sikkens Autocoat BT Varicolor system: LV 350 primer, filler and topcoat

The VOC compliant Varicolor system consists of Sikkens Autocoat BT LV 350 Varicolor primers and fillers, which come in a wide range of colors,.Vehicles spend less time in the paintshop, because fewer coats are needed increasing productivity and profitability.
