Master Bond announces the first one part epoxy adhesive system that fully meets USP Class VI requirements and withstands repeated sterilisations. Master Bond EP3HT Medical requires no mixing, has an unlimited working life and cures quickly at elevated temperatures. Typical cure cycles are 20-30 minutes at 220F with shorter cure times at higher temperatures. Its medium viscosity makes it easy to apply. EP3HT Medical contains no solvents and emits no vapours or volatiles during cure.Master Bond EP3HT Medical offers many additional advantages over many other conventional medical grade epoxies. It is extremely durable, has excellent adhesion to many substrates and optimises productivity. Its dimensional stability is excellent even when exposed to adverse environmental conditions. Resistance to ETO, gamma radiation, autoclaving and recently developed 'cold' sterilants is excellent. EP3HT Medical does not require refrigeration and has superior shelf life of 6 months at ambient temperatures. |
