Honeywell today released new Piezo Dynamic Series Sirens, which yield traditional sound, but require less power and are easier for dealers to install. The WAVE2PD and 747PD produce traditional speaker sound while drawing only a quarter of the current used by typical sirens, making it easier to install multiple sounders without having to add any additional hardware. The PD sirens enable dealers to easily add multiple sirens to standard alarm control panels, and can also be used as an external sounder on LYNX wireless systems. The sirens feature a sleek, lightweight design, an easy-to-wire terminal block (no wires to splice or crimp) and a convenient, hinged case cover. Elliptical mounting holes make alignment easy after installation and both versions can be surface or corner mounted. The WAVE2PD and 747PD Sirens are ideal for any residential application. Versions with tamper protect are also available to provide an added level of protection to meet stringent global requirements.
