ATI has worked to make early stage technology companies successful since 1989. “ATI alumni have founded more than 150 companies that have collectively raised nearly three-quarters of a billion dollars in investor capital, produced four successful initial public offerings and dozens of major acquisitions, and created thousands of jobs for Central Texas,” said Isaac Barchas, executive director of ATI. “Together, these people are a key component of our high tech business ecosystem. The ATI Alumni Network creates a forum where they can connect with each other and provide mentoring support to current and future ATI entrepreneurs.” The ATI Alumni Network includes executives from Metrowerks (now part of Freescale,) Encore Medical, Molecular Imprints, Evolutionary Technologies, CEDRA and many other companies that got their starts as ATI members, as well as current and former student interns.
