05 September 2006 - Materialise NV

The Materialise team are continuously looking for the best ways to support their customers in their product development process.

The Materialise team are continuously looking for the best ways to support their customers in their product development process.

Today, they add a new dimension to the online prototyping service OnSite: people get a 10% discount to the standard price when they order online. This is a unique concept within the RP industry.

OnSite is the easiest, fastest and as of today also the most cost-effective online prototyping platform in the world.

Materialise has always been a predecessor in offering online services. In the early days of online ordering, it was already possible to quote and order Next Day SLA models over the internet.

More and more customers noticed how they could benefit by using the Next Day service and encouraged Materialise to extend the service with more features: more online technologies, more online materials, order history, a more user-friendly interface, etc. Meeting the needs of the customer, the Materialise Next Day service was developed into a more extensive e-based customer service with a new name: OnSite. This name was chosen because the online service aims at bringing Materialise and its services on site at the customer as an internal department.
