SWAN COLOURS ROLLS OUT DPP PERFORMANCE RED

A key addition to the pigment portfolio of Swan Performance Colours is a clean bright pigment red 254 for industrial applications.

The pigment, marketed under Swan's Casacolour brand, is a Diketo-Pyrrolo-Pyrrole and is a clean, bright and strong mid-yellow shade of red. The pigment has been developed for durability in demanding applications such as industrial and architectural coatings, packaging inks and plastics.

Swan became a major new European source of quality colours in 2004 with the launch of their range of Casacolour pigments and Casasperse preparations. Nominated as one of the 'world's top 20 innovators' in the chemical industry, technologists at Thomas Swan & Co Ltd have developed an advanced manufacturing approach to create pigments with consistent colour quality.

Swan's have extended their established expertise in coatings and ink resins to meet customer demand for colour preparations for packaging, printing, coatings and plastics sectors. The launch of Swan's Performance Colours division follows a programme to develop proprietary technology and synergies with Casamid polyamide and Casathane polyurethane systems.
