The Dual Lock system comprises a continuous strip of durable backing with mushroom shaped stems that interlock to provide a strong, clean and accurate fastening. 3M designed the Dual Lock system to meet the need for more flexible construction and assembly methods, particularly within the corporate and leisure sectors. Dual Lock fasteners offer a high performance, clean and cost effective alternative to other methods of attachment such as screws, hinges, nails and adhesives. Available in three different strengths (depending on the number of stems per square inch), Dual Lock fasteners are robust and secure enough for large-scale installations and are suitable for multiple detachments and reattachments.
