COSMETICS BOTTLES HAVE GLASS-LIKE CLARITY

Cosmetics bottles that have glass-like clarity, and colour, have been developed by a company in Germany using a material from Eastman Chemical Co.

Germany’s Rebhan GmbH & Co KG has developed new cosmetics bottles that include thick ‘water-clear’ outside walls made from The Glass Polymer by Eastman Chemical Co, with a coloured inner layer that provides unique high aesthetics and feel for the consumer.

The extrusion blow-moulded, co-extrusion design enhances the package's deep colour and has a glass-like effect with a glossy surface.
