BTG dismissed similar claims against co-defendant, Netflix, Inc., who also took a license to the patents. BTG's suit continues to be pursued against two remaining defendants - Amazon.com and Overstock.com

Louise Makin, Chief Executive Officer of BTG, commented: "We are very happy to have reached an agreement with Barnes & Noble and we are pleased with the ongoing success of our licensing efforts for these patents."

BTG filed suit in Federal Court in Delaware against Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Netflix and Overstock.com for infringement of patented technology that enables efficient tracking of the movement of Internet users between websites and is used in certain online marketing programs.
