BARLO PLASTICS APPOINTS NEW BUSINESS DIRECTORS

Ayub Adam will be responsible for the overall management of the Business unit ‘High impact products’. The product group contains: BARLO PC, BARLO SPC and SPECTAR sheet. He will also account for the sales management of the entire range of BARLO Plastics products in the UK and Ireland. Adam joined Barlo Plastics in 2000 as Application Development Manager. He has worked in the plastics industry over the past 15 years in the Netherlands, Germany and in the UK primarily for GE Plastics. During this period he held a variety of strategic positions: Research and Technical manager, Quality assurance manager, Key Account Executive and Field Market Development manager. Adam studied at the University of Lancaster (UK) and has a Bsc. in Chemistry with polymer Science and Technology and further a postgraduate MSc. in new polymer synthesis. Secondly, New Business Director XT Products Wilfried Bernard will be responsible for the overall management of the Business Unit ‘BARLO XT Products‘. He will also be accountable for the sales management of the entire range of BARLO Plastics products in Germany, Switzerland , Austria, Benelux and Scandinavia. Bernard has been working in the plastic industry for 21 years. He started his career working for BASF-Resart as sales manager Central Europe. He joined Barlo Plastics when the company took over Resart in 1997 and was promoted several times until he was appointed Sales Director BARLO XT. Bernard has a Master Degree Business economics from the University of Achen. Finally Judith Sanz, the new Business Director CAST products, will be responsible for the overall management of the BARLO CAST product group. She will also account for the sales management of the entire range of Barlo Plastics products in South-West Europe (Spain, Italy and Portugal) and France. Sanz started her career working for BASF in the quality department. She then joined Critesa, a chemical company of the BASF as Quality Manager. She joined Barlo Plastics when the company took over Critesa and was promoted several times, being also appointed Export Manager for the South of Europe, until she was appointed Product Manager BARLO CAST and BARLO SAN. She is part of the Management Team in Spain since 1997. Judith Sanz studied Chemistry at the University of Barcelona. She obtained her master degree in 1993, with a speciality in biochemistry. Afterwards, she obtained an MBA from the business school ESADE in Barcelona. More recently she has followed a course in Ashridge Management School in the UK. She is 31 years old and speaks 5 languages.
