HUSKY TO IMPROVE CUSTOMER SUPPORT NETWORK IN EUROPE
Husky Injection Molding Systems has announced plans to improve its customer support network in Europe to ensure customers receive exceptional products, service and support across the continent. The changes, scheduled to be rolled out over the course of the next two years, will include expanded services out of the Luxembourg Technical Center, Husky's European headquarters, as well as four new Service and Sales offices in Vienna, France and Germany. Three smaller Technical Centers in France and Germany will close with the services being moved to the new locations. The new Vienna office will serve as the headquarters for activities in Central Europe, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. "Moving to Vienna will bring us closer to the market and improve our Service and Sales support with better logistics and faster reaction time," Milan Cvjetkovic, Husky's Vice President of Eastern Europe, said. "We will also be hiring several experienced people that speak the local language." "These areas are all strategic locations for us," added Mike Diletti, Husky's Vice President of Sales and Marketing. "With the expansion of services in Luxembourg, Austria, France and Germany, we felt we had an opportunity to consolidate some of our smaller Technical Centers and provide a better level of support to our customers by adding to the technology and resources available in Luxembourg. Our customers are demanding larger, more complex systems that can be more effectively executed in our larger facilities. From a customer perspective, this transition will be seamless. In fact, customers will now have access to an increased number of direct sales people in these regions."
