NEW FASTENER INSERTIONLOGIC SOFTWARE PLUS INSERTIONGRAPHICS FOR HAEGER INSERTION PRESSES

New Fastener InsertionLogic Software plus InsertionGraphics with optional Quality Control Pack for Haeger insertion presses is now available through Shear-Form Machine Tools Ltd, the Coventry based sheet metal and plate working machinery supplier and sole UK representative for California based insertion press manufacturer Haeger Inc.

The InsertionLogic Software includes Networking Software Communications, Off-line Programming and Digital Package and is provided as standard on all new equipment, however can be supplied for retro-fitting to existing presses dependant upon the control specification.

The software can be used on a Touch Screen Control PC based, 12" full colour touch screen interface with Microsoft Windows XP operating system, solid state memory, 640 x 480 resolution, RAM working memory, flash memory (storage), Ethernet port and USB port.

Touch screen programming is available in eleven different languages and Haeger has drawn upon its extensive factory installed library of fasteners, fastener characteristics, parameters and their own Haeger designed tooling to enable the operator to have a system that allows him/her to quickly set up and store quality assured insertion jobs to ISO standards.

InsertionLogicTM provides flexibility to meet Lean Manufacturing requirements and being network ready, the systems intuitive, step by step interface makes the creation of parts programming simple providing the capability to prepare fastener insertion programs off-line, ideal for production planning and work release sequences.

On-board storage for virtually unlimited work, recallable by either customer name, part number, print or work release number enable the user to have consistent part quality, part revision and a complete inserted fastener history.
