The new MC range of vices enable free access to the workpiece for complete machining on all sides, in a single set up. The vices offer a comprehensive range of special jaws, together with a range of standard jaws and soft jaws, which enable the end user to machine the jaws for any specific requirement. |
Roemheld will be introducing a new range of vices designed specifically for the rapidly developing 5-axis market. The new MC range of vices enable free access to the workpiece for complete machining on all sides, in a single set up. The vices offer a comprehensive range of special jaws, together with a range of standard jaws and soft jaws, which enable the end user to machine the jaws for any specific requirement. They also offer a range of Grip and V Jaws to enhance the retention force on the workpiece. 5-axis designs include Standard Mechanical, Standard Hydraulic, Concentric, Zero point changing systems and other clamping systems commonly found in the marketplace. Clamping forces reach 40Kn with the SCS 120 range and 35Kn on the MC 125 range. Vices come in a choice of jaw widths 60mm, 100mm, 120mm and 125, with base lengths to suit the requirements of today’s 5-axis tables. Mounting details are available in the Roemheld data sheet.
