Stark Speedy Airtec System is ideal for clean area and oil free applications in industries such as food processing and medial technology. The latest addition to the Stark Zero Point technology range from Roemheld, Airtec system 5000 units are designed to reduce set up times and increase productivity. Although offering quick and repeatable changeovers of fixtures, jigs, vices and chucks, the units are also designed to be extremely safe to operate. The unit comes as standard with 20kn of retention force working at 6 bar air pressure. The system is locked by a series of wedges against the inserted nipple and only when 6 bar of air pressure is coupled up will the system be ready for fixture change. Making the complete system user friendly and very safe. The Airtec system can be easily designed in to new and or existing set ups due to its modular design. Four types of units are available each with different advantages: the ability to air blow off of table surface, an integral central sealing system, the ability to keep coolant and swarf away from critical areas and a positioning datum on the front face of the unit.
