Findlay, Ohio, Premier Material Concepts, has given seasonal holidays, and point-of-purchase displays,a new facelift by providing an extruded High-Impact Polystyrene for use in thermoforming innovative presentations such as the large pumpkin currently in stores as part of a national promotion by a major brand soft drink. By using a HIPS sheet the thermoformer was able to produce a flexible but firm product. This was important because the pumpkin is used in conjunction with a cooler that will be placed inside to hold cold beverages. PMC also matched the orange color requested by the molder and added a haircell textured finish to make the product more realistic looking. PMC provides custom manufacturing expertise for TPE, ABS, HIPS, PP and acrylics for thermoforming, POP display material, converters and custom fabrication.
