PMC INTRODUCES PRIEMERKOTE UV RESISTANT SHEETS AND ROLLS FOR CO-EXTRUDED APPLICATIONS

Findlay, Ohio, Premier Material Concepts, custom manufacturers of TPE, ABS, HIPS, PP and acrylics for thermoforming, POP display material, converters and custom fabricators, introduces its PremierKote line of UV-resistant sheets and rolls for co-extruded applications.

PMC’s PremierKote materials provide protection from UV degradation via coextrusion over a variety of polymer sheet substrates including: ABS, PC/ABS, HIPS, ASA, ASA/PC, PC, PVC and PETG. Typical applications include: decorative panels, signs, tub/shower surrounds, spas and pool accessories, patio furniture, building trim, lawn and garden equipment, marine, personal watercraft, recreational vehicles, lawn/garden, building/construction, automotive accessories, and outdoor enclosures.

Because PMC extrudes its own product in both sheets and rolls, PremierKote materials are highly cost competitive. Low minimum quantities of less than 20,000 LF, plus short turnaround times also contribute to PMC’s unique production capabilities. PremierKote materials can be provided in thicknesses ranging from .015” (.4 mm) to .200” (5 mm) and widths up to 72” (183 cm).

Aesthetically, PMC can accommodate a wide range of needs by matching capstock to any color. Additionally, PremierKote materials contribute to a long-lasting appearance and the preservation of vibrant color and gloss.
