| To meet the increasing demand for its family of aluminium/silicon (Al/Si) controlled expansion alloys, Osprey Metals has established website access to an inventory in the United States and Europe of select compositions and sizes, available for immediate shipment.

Osprey Metals Ltd, part of Sandvik Materials Technology and a wholly owned subsidiary of Sandvik AB, Sweden, manufactures a range of Si-Al alloys, tailored to a specific thermal expansion coefficient at any value in the range 7-23ppm/C. These cost effective, easy to use and lightweight alloys exhibit high thermal conductivity and are stiff, machinable, plateable and environmentally friendly. Osprey's proprietary, ISO 9001 certified process provides uniform properties and optimum mechanical characteristics.
