By allowing users to customize Windows desktop workspaces to the way they work, Matrox PowerSpace empowers users to take complete control of their multi-display setups in order to streamline work processes and experience the ultimate in multi-display productivity. This innovative software package, supporting all Matrox multi-display graphics cards, can be obtained by complimentary download from the Matrox website. Used in conjunction with Matrox's line of multi-display graphics cards, Matrox PowerSpace offers a powerful combination of features unparalleled in the industry. " Matrox PowerSpace was designed to work with Matrox PowerDesk, Matrox's windows management software, to benefit both end users and IT management with its array of unique features. The "Desktop Recall" feature of PowerSpace enables users to save the application position where it appears on the workspace, and to automatically reposition these applications to their saved locations. The "Autostart" feature enables users to determine which applications they would like to be started automatically upon log in and repositions them to their saved location. The "Import/Export" feature also enables software administrators to back-up the application "profile" onto the network so workspaces can be imported and exported to and from other PCs effortlessly, eliminating wasted IT resources spent repositioning applications during moves, adds or changes. Matrox PowerSpace allows for multiple settings to match user needs: a local setting for multi-monitor office desktop usage and an RDP setting for single monitor access from home. The "RDP Awareness" feature retains the user's local (work) settings for a multi-monitor configuration even after a remote login session from a single monitor has occurred.
