TOTOKU CHOOSES MATROX MED5MP DISPLAY CONTROLLER BOARD TO BUNDLE WITH NEW 5 MP MEDICAL DISPLAY

Matrox Graphics Inc., the leading manufacturer of graphics solutions for professionals, today announced that Totoku has validated and is bundling the Totoku LV52P1 display controller board, which is based on the Matrox MED5mp technology, with its new Totoku ME551i2 medical displays. The bundle will also be carried internationally by Totoku display distributors such as MeDiSol, Quest International, Inc. and U.S. Electronics, Inc.

Matrox MED Series display controller boards, including the MED2mp, MED3mp, MED4mp and MED5mp, represent a top-to-bottom approach for display configurations supporting landscape and portrait modes. The Matrox MED Series brings advanced functionality and flexibility to the medical imaging market with extensive multi-monitor support, pristine image quality and robust drivers. Advanced display performance is achieved through features such as simultaneous display of 2048 shades of gray to enable grayscale display faithful to the DICOM GSDF and a luminance uniformity equalizer to even out luminance across the screen.
