The Matrox Solios XCL-B and Matrox Solios XCL-F each support a single Base or a Single Full Camera Link camera, respectively. The Matrox Solios XCL-B and Matrox Solios XCL-F each support a single Base or a Single Full Camera Link camera, respectively. "By offering a single-interface Camera Link frame grabber at an attractive price point, more machine vision users may take advantage of Camera Link's exceptional performance and functionality," explains Dwayne Crawford, Product Manager, Matrox Imaging. Matrox Solios XCL-B and XCL-F models are also available for PCI Express, allowing users to upgrade to next-generation PCs with simplicity. Optional FPGA The Matrox Solios XCL-F also features an optional, customizable processing core based on the Altera Stratix FPGA family to accelerate specific routines in an application. The Altera Stratix devices are available with or without memory (SDRAM and/or SRAM) to offer users maximum flexibility for their application's needs.
