Polymer Group, Inc. is offering the filtration industry a full range of high-performance media for air and liquid filtration to meet increasing regulations and tougher performance demands at INDA's Filtration.

PGI is highlighting the newest versions of its award-winning Durapex filtration medium. Through its strategic relationship with Donaldson Co. Inc., the company has introduced oleophobic, aramid and conductive variations of the original Durapex products for global baghouse uses. These new products are suited for dust removal in humid conditions, high temperatures and manufacturing environments where dust may be explosive.

Durapex utilizes PGI's proprietary Apex technology, which combines advanced web forming and hydroentangling techniques, along with highly developed finishing capabilities, to create a filtration medium with superior uniformity and tightly controlled pore size.

“Our Apex technology is increasingly becoming a preferred platform for air and liquid filtration,” Murray said. “We will continue to expand the use of this technology in new applications.”

PGI also is putting the spotlight on its liquid filtration line, including Ultraply, Ultraloft, Aquapex, Kiara, SBPP and SMS; pleatable media; membrane backing products for both air and liquid applications; flame resistant materials, UV and antimicrobial products; and support substrates for air, liquid and specialty applications.
