| Specialist Corus pressing capability secures additional Land Rover contract for new Range Rover Sport |
10 February 2005 - Corus Corus' specialist large panel press blanking capability has resulted in the international metals company securing an additional contract to supply Land Rover with the rear door outer panels for the all new Range Rover Sport, being launched this summer. Corus will supply the shaped blanks for these panels direct to Land Rover's Solihull plant. The contract follows a successful year which has also seen the company secure a long term contract to supply the bodyside panel blanks for the company's highly acclaimed new Discovery 3 model. It was during the early development stages for the Discovery 3, that Land Rover first recognised how Corus' press blanking capability could help the company meet its specific design requirements. |

06 October 2003 - Corus Corus has won the contract to supply LTI Vehicles with 100 per cent of its skin panel steel blank requirements. Corus will supply the Coventry based London taxi manufacturer with precision blanks for all 75 body parts needed for its world famous black cab, which is built on the LTI Vehicles assembly line in Holyhead Road. Corus will supply the blanks from its specialist Automotive Service Centre in Wolverhampton. LTI currently produces over 2,800 cabs a year and has recently completed its first exports to the USA. |

Installation of the new line, which represents a £250,000 investment at the company's specialist Automotive Service Centre in Wolverhampton, is expected to be complete by mid April. |
