Conductive inks
: 21 May, 2014 |
Within the electronics field, more and more applications are coming to the fore that require a uniform, self-regulating heating system – from heated mirrors and underfloor heating systems to batteries. Conventional wire-based solutions are not only cumbersome but also particularly time-consuming and costly to manufacture. Now, with its Loctite ECI 8000 E&C series, Henkel is able to provide an innovative and efficient alternative. |

Polymer-ceramic coatings
: 29 August, 2013 |
Usually PP-wrapping provides long-term corrosion protection for underground pipelines. But in this case the polypropylene tapes shrank substantially due to the high service temperature. Thereby, large metal surfaces were uncovered and unprotected. The two-component epoxy coatings of the solvent-free Proguard-Series (VOC = 0 mg) are based on unplasticised special resins. The Tg-value (glass transition temperature) of these coating systems is >120C. Therefore, a tight cross linking of the polymer chains is achieved even at high substrate temperatures. |
