Aristotig 255 AC/DC - The TIG machine with more in-built features
|
ESAB Group
: 21 March, 2002 (New Product) |
|
Designed for customers who demand more from their TIG equipment, the ESAB Aristotig 255 AC/DC, with presettable data and pulsing features, delivers the highest quality TIG welding on all types of materials. The built-in pulse device allows greater control of the weld pool for TIG welding in both AC and DC modes. A lower heat input facility for thin materials gives improved welding results and an alternative soft pulse feature reduces the overall sound level. |

Aristotig 255 provides AC TIG welding with true square wave, combined with variable frequency control to give a stable arc across the entire output range. At the same time, welding without HF arc maintenance is possible.
In both AC and DC mode, the machine gives a safe start and stable arc. The stepless AC balance control, when used for welding aluminium, helps the operator to control the cleaning action or level of penetration.
For ease of setting and adjusting, the control panel includes digital instruments and the TIG torch trigger is selectable for 2 stroke and 4 stroke operation. A 4 stroke 'pilot' action allows switching between two pre-programmed current settings.
Excellent MMA performance with DC or AC electrodes up to 4mm is also provided by Aristotig 255, with outstanding arc striking and arc running characteristics being provided by the stepless hot-start and arc force controls, adjustable to suit the type of electrode being used. |
