Optimised for manual TIG welding of all types and thicknesses of material, the ESAB Aristotig 405 AC/DC power source combines ease of use with many advanced features for the most demanding of applications.
Quality TIG welding is assured thanks to a fast acting inverter, and state of the art regulation gives fast response and exact settings for superb performance. For ease of use, set up information is illuminated and linked settings simplify operation.
Better control and penetration is facilitated by the possibility of combining two different pulse frequency settings (fast 5-250Hz or normal 0,5-25Hz), together with AC frequency control. The LIFTARC function reduces risk of disturbance to surrounding equipment when welding in HF sensitive surroundings.
An extremely wide current range of between 3-400 Amps allows very thin as well as thick material to be welded with the Aristotig 405, with either alternating or direct current selectable to suit a very large range of weldable materials.
The robust well-proven inverter based power package is fully compliant with IP23 for tough outdoor conditions. An automatic fault protection device shuts down the unit in the event of any malfunction, with a display showing the nature of the fault.
Further advanced features include a soft-hot start function for secure starts, end current setting to reduce crater risk, presetting of currents with a digital display, and an automatic spot welding facility. |
