AroMetrics to begin public advertising
|
Ashland Inc
: 19 April, 2005 (Company News) |
|
AroMetrics, the new automotive air freshener system developed by the Valvoline division's Eagle One business group is ready to go public. Television commercials and print ads will soon appear, along with a public relations (PR) campaign designed to inform consumers about the benefits of fragrance in automobiles. |
|
The first TV commercials for Eagle One's new product will begin airing in the U.S. on Tuesday, April 19, on national cable, including ESPN and The History Channel.
The 15- and 20-second spots were created by Valvoline's ad agency, BPN, Inc., of Portland, Ore. and Cincinnati, Ohio. They complement a full schedule of print advertising which will begin to appear in May – and a PR campaign that kicks off on April 20th with a satellite media tour involving 'scent' expert Dr. Bryan Raudenbush of Wheeling Jesuit University.
Some 21 local TV news stations will interview Dr. Raudenbush about his study that revealed fragrance in the automotive environment can promote alertness in drivers while reducing aggression.
AroMetrics products can be purchased at most major automotive and mass merchandise retailers in the U.S. |
