Barlo Plastics Announces Product Extension Of Spectar Sheet At Euroshop 2002

Quinn Plastics : 21 December, 2001  (New Product)
Barlo Plastics exhibits Spectar Sheet during Euroshop 2002, one of the major brands in its broad product family.
At Euroshop 2002, Barlo Plastics will launch 6 new Spectar colours. The product capability will also be expanded to include 12mm thickness in the range with a very high impact resistance, shock resistance, as well as being very tough, particularly for larger surface area applications.

Earlier this year Barlo Plastics and Eastman Chemical Company signed a strategic alliance and trademark license agreement covering the production as well as the marketing and sales activities for new Spectar sheet extruded from Eastman Chemical Company Spectar copolyester.

Spectar sheet is particularly suitable for applications in the POS/POP market and in the thermo - and vacuum forming industry.

Spectar copolyester is an excellent material to address the needs of brand owners, designers and fabricators alike, offering many advantages for designing an extensive range of creations, from elementary objects to the most complex designs.

Many designers and developers already recognize those advantages, especially when it can be vacuum-formed at lower temperatures than other plastics without predrying the sheet and it can be cold bent without whitening.

With the new portfolio addition of products. Barlo Plastics will strengthen its position in the signs and display market.
