Bayer Corporation today announced that it has promoted Randy Dearth to Head of the recently formed Global Powder Coatings Business Group, within the corporation's Coatings and Colorants Division.
In his new responsibility, Dearth will manage global marketing, strategic planning and product management for the resins, crosslinkers and pigments sold into the worldwide powder coatings market.

Upon his return to the United States, Dearth was named Director of Marketing for the Division's aliphatic and aromatic monomer business and Adhesives Raw Material Group.

Dearth was born in Warren, Ohio, in 1963. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in chemistry from Hiram College and a master of science degree in polymer science and engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is married and has two children.
